Our Story

When I was a kid I developed a love of baking.

It started as simply following the directions on a box of cake mix or a bag of chocolate chips, but it was always something that brought me (and those around me) joy.

When the world shut down in 2020, like many others I found myself searching for ways to pass the time, and I naturally gravitated towards the kitchen. A recipe for chocolate cookies on the back of a bag of peanut butter chips caught my eye, and an idea was sparked; If chocolate cookies with PEANUT BUTTER chips tasted good, I bet peanut butter cookies with CHOCOLATE chips would also taste good, but what if I put them together? And so, after experimenting my with own recipe and tweaking it to perfection, the Double Trouble cookie was born.

 

Fast forward again to 2022, working as a stay-at-home dad, and I again found myself in the kitchen experimenting- this time with an Oreo-based variation of my recipe. After sharing both cookies with friends and family the feedback was overwhelming;

'You NEED to sell these!'

My wife and I sat down, thought, prayed, and talked about what it would look like to dive into something completely new for both of us, and after much brainstorming settled on the perfect name to capture our unique approach to cookies; Twisted Dough.

 

We officially launched in 2023 and now have 15+ flavors (with many more on the way). Each cookie is carefully crafted to be unlike anything else being offered today; from the nostalgic ice cream-inspired flavor of our Super Dough cookie, to the fudgy, rich chocolate of our Brookie Dough, to our different seasonal treats like Feliz NaviDough or Chocolate Covered Strawberry, there's something for everyone to enjoy!
